In the 2024–2025 academic year, TUIT reached major sustainability milestones. The University entered the Times Higher Education World University Rankings Top 1000, placed in the THE Impact Rankings 2025 Top 1000 across six SDG categories, ranked 890th in the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking 2024, and appeared in the QS Sustainability Rankings 2025.
TUIT’s Scopus-indexed publication portfolio includes 2,306 articles classified across all 17 SDGs. SDG 9 — Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure — leads the research output with 1,607 articles, accounting for 69.7% of the total and reinforcing TUIT’s position as a technology-driven institution contributing to sustainable innovation.
