SDG 5: Gender Equality
Overview
TUIT is committed to advancing gender equality in ICT education, research, and institutional leadership. During 2024–2025, the University marked International Women’s Day (8 March), International Day of Women and Girls in Science (11 February), and multiple women’s leadership initiatives. With 48% of Uzbekistan’s researchers being women, TUIT supports this national goal through specific programmes targeting female students, researchers, and staff.
