TUIT trains the specialists who secure the state’s digital systems and runs its own affairs openly and accountably.
At a glance
Research
TUIT’s Faculty of Cybersecurity and its researchers in cryptography, digital identity and data protection support secure public institutions.
Teaching and students
Students are represented on the University Council and through the Youth Union, which organises sport, culture and volunteering and agrees the student-meal price with the University. Academic freedom for senior and junior academics is protected by the Academic Freedom Policy.
Campus
The Anti-Corruption and Compliance Control Department manages the University’s anti-corruption system and receives reports, including anonymous ones. Financial data are published in the open data section, and the Stakeholder Engagement Policy gives residents, local government and civil society a voice in decisions.
Community and partners
TUIT organises the sector councils for professional skills in ICT and advises the Ministry of Digital Technologies. The Uzbek-Indian Centre of Information Technologies named after Jawaharlal Nehru trains staff of government bodies.
