What we did in 2025

Employment. The Spring Job Fair (3 April 2025) and the “Kelajakka Qadam” centre connected students with employers. Students prepared for international IT certifications.

Fair work. In 2025 the living wage for a family of four was 2,676,000 soums a month. The Fair Employment Policy, approved on 30 August 2024, requires the lowest pay levels to be reviewed every year against the living wage, and bans discrimination, forced labour and child labour, guarantees equivalent rights for outsourced workers, requires an annual gender pay-gap analysis and sets out an appeals process. The University recognises the trade union and negotiates a Collective Agreement.

Start-ups. The February 2025 start-up forum and the Incubation Center linked students to investors.

Partners

Trade union committee, employers at the Job Fair, IT Park Uzbekistan, Aloqabank.

Next steps

Publish the 2025 gender pay-gap analysis; include outsourced-worker clauses in all service contracts.
