On October 7-9 this year, the delegation of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi is participating in the international forum on "Developments and Innovations in Higher Education in the New Technological Revolution" in Xi'an, People's Republic of China. TUIT was invited by the University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR), a global educational consortium established in China by Xi'an Jiaotong University's initiative, considered one of the top universities in the world.


This international forum is planned to consider the admission of prestigious universities achieving high results as new members to the University Alliance of the Silk Road. Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi is also a candidate for alliance membership.


Within the framework of the forum, on the initiative of the president of Xi'an Jiaotong University, a meeting was organized with the participation of the presidents of the visiting universities. Issues of establishing and further developing close international cooperation between universities were discussed at the meeting.


The Rector of our university, Prof. Bakhtiyor Makhkamov, participated in this meeting with visiting leaders from universities from all continents of the world and expressed his thoughts and opinions about the positive reforms being carried out in our country in terms of higher education and the development of TUIT as a science and education cluster.
