SDG 4: Quality Education

Overview

As Uzbekistan’s premier ICT university, TUIT’s entire institutional mission is aligned with SDG 4. During 2024–2025, the University advanced quality education through curriculum modernisation, new AI-focused degree programmes, international collaborations, merit-based scholarships, student

achievement recognition, and the establishment of industry-integrated learning environments. TUIT’s entry into the THE World University Rankings confirmed its status as a quality higher education institution of global significance.

Research & Innovation

TUIT’s Scopus portfolio includes 217 articles (9.4%) classified under SDG 4 — the second-largest category — covering education technologies, e-learning systems, NLP/Uzbek language processing, digital pedagogy, and learning analytics. The University hosts a dedicated Artificial Intelligence Department which, in May 2025, produced the first-ever graduates in Artificial Intelligence in Uzbekistan’s higher education history. The "Sun’iy Intellekt" (AI) and Mechatronics & Robotics

graduates presented final thesis projects applying cutting-edge technologies to real-world problems. TUIT Artificial Intelligence Department
