The rankings for the 2022 performance of higher education institutions, academic lyceums, and legal colleges have been announced.
For the first time, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations assessed the performance of 98 higher education institutions (76 universities and 22 branches), 62 academic lyceums, and 14 legal colleges in 2022, and released the national ranking of higher education institutions.
In the 2022 National Ranking of Higher Education Institution Branches, branches of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT) secured notable positions:
- Top 5: TUIT branches occupied 3 spots.
- Top 10: TUIT branches secured 4 spots.
The results are as follows:

5. TUIT Fergana Branch
9. TUIT Nukus Branch
Tashkent University of Information Technologies maintained its 13th position in the national ranking of higher education institutions based on 2022 performance, preserving its standing from the previous year.
TUIT achieved significant progress in scientific research:
- The number of articles published in prestigious international journals has doubled compared to the previous year.
- According to the Scopus database, TUIT ranked 4th among 98 higher education institutions for the number of scientific articles published by its faculty and for citation frequency in academic publications.
