Scientific activity
Currently, 107 scientific and research projects are being carried out in the total amount of 20,227 billion soums at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi and its regional branches. From this, the amount of financing of 107 scientific research works for 2023 is 10.755 billion soums, 20 projects within the framework of state scientific and technical programs are in the amount of 8.670 billion soums, based on economic contracts in the amount of 1.775 billion soums Professors and teachers are conducting research on 87 projects.
105 professors and teachers of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi are carrying out 28 research projects with a total value of more than 16.625 billion soums. In particular, the volume of financing of 28 research projects for the current year is 8,334 billion soums. Of this, 16 projects implemented within the framework of state programs - 6.88 billion soums, and 12 contracts based on economic contracts were financed in the amount of 1.454 billion soums.
123 students are studying in 11 specialties at the Institute of Post-Higher Education of the University. The number of independent seekers is 132. For 2024, the Innovative Development Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan has allocated 47 places for basic doctoral studies, 31 places for targeted basic doctoral studies, 2 places for targeted doctoral studies, 3 places for doctoral studies, 10 places for interns. - a total of 93 quotas were allocated for research and education at the expense of the state budget.
A total of 236 students were involved in the scientific and research activities of the university in order to organize the scientific and research activities of talented students. During the year, 106 students received state and industry scholarships of 7 names, and 33 students won prizes in 11 types of international and national Olympic competitions.
