Scientific Activity
At the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi and its regional branches, 88 scientific research projects are currently being implemented, totaling 16.72 billion UZS. Among them, 13 projects are being carried out under state scientific and technical programs for a total of 10.24 billion UZS, and 59 projects are conducted by teachers under economic contract agreements totaling 2.242 billion UZS.
At TUIT, 31 research works are being carried out by teachers, with a total value of more than 11.027 billion UZS. The amount of funding for the current year is 5.891 billion UZS. Of these, 9 state program projects were funded for 8.864 billion UZS, and 22 economic contract agreements totaled 2.24 billion UZS.
The research projects implemented at TUIT within the framework of state programs are distributed as follows:
- 3 fundamental — 4.954331 / 1.263801 billion UZS;
- 4 applied — 2.8882168 / 1.879 billion UZS;
- 2 innovative — 1.021 / 0.719549 billion UZS;
Additionally, 9 patent applications for inventions and utility models were submitted. 2 utility model patents have been granted, 1 invention patent is under publication in the information bulletin, and 6 are under examination.
