On 7 September, a festive event will be held to welcome students at the start of the new academic year under the motto “ONE HOMELAND, ONE PEOPLE — LET US BUILD A NEW LIFE AND A NEW FUTURE!”
An interview was held for admission to the Independent Researcher Programme at the Institute of Postgraduate Education of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi for the fourth quarter of 2026.
The admission process is currently underway for the “Business IT” 3+1 (4+0) Double Degree international education programme, jointly organised by the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi and Kookmin University of the Republic of Korea.
The GCYLP, implemented by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) in partnership with Huawei, is aimed at supporting young digital leaders and helping them transform their innovative ideas into practical solutions that benefit their communities. The third cohort consists of young changemakers who successfully passed a selection process conducted by an international jury from among 6,700 applicants from 150 countries.
A “Leaders and Youth” meeting was held at the TUIT Academic Lyceum named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, led by Professor Bakhtiyor Makhkamov, Rector of our university.
Today, 3 September, an opening ceremony was held at the TUIT Academic Lyceum for the new modern TUIT Lab laboratory and the Information Resource Centre (IRC), with the participation of the university leadership headed by Professor B. Makhkamov, Rector of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
