The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) will implement the project "Increasing youth employment and entrepreneurial potential by improving the IT education ecosystem in Uzbekistan" with a total value of 14 million US dollars.
According to the results of the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings 2026, the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi is among the 601–800th places among the prestigious higher education institutions of Asia.
During the visit, the guests were closely acquainted with the advanced infrastructures operating at our university, research centers, the Higher Engineering School, the Situational Center, the Media Center, Living Lab and Fablab laboratories, the student startup ecosystem, as well as innovative developments (showroom).
During the visit, important agreements were reached aimed at developing scientific and practical cooperation, accelerating educational transformation, and strengthening professional dialogue between professors, teachers, and students.

The “HUAWEI INTERNSHIP 2026” program was held at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi. This program, organized with the participation of representatives from Huawei company at the university, became an effective meeting that defined important professional directions for young students.
