Meetings and training courses are held by professors of leading European educational institutions at TUIT.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and 6 universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan and 6 European universities, the “Modernization of Mechatronics and Robotics for Bachelor degree in Uzbekistan through Innovative Ideas and Digital Technology (MechaUz)” international project No. 609564-EPP-1-2019-1-EL-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP is being implemented within the Higher Education Capacity Building projects.

The main goal of the project is to train competitive specialists by modernizing the undergraduate education course of mechatronics and robotics in Uzbekistan based on innovative ideas and digital technologies.

It should be noted that within the framework of the project, on May 15-19 of this year, Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi is hosting the next 5th PPM meeting and the 3rd training. In this meeting and training courses representatives from 6 higher education institutions of European countries, including the International Hellenic University and the South-East European Research Center of Greece, Vilnius Gediminas Technical University of Lithuania, Liepaja University and Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences of Latvia, Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo of Portugal, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and representatives from 5 higher educational institutions, including Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, Fergana Polytechnic Institute, Karshi Institute of Engineering Economics, and Tashkent State Technical University, are participating.

The meeting was opened by Kamil Tashev, vice-rector for “Scientific affairs and innovations” of the university, who expressed his deep gratitude to the organizers and participants of the seminar during his speech. During the meeting, the responsible representatives of each educational institution discussed the tasks and the achieved results.
