Biography

Bobur Kamolovich Rakhimov was born in 1992 in the city of Samarkand.

From 2010 to 2014, he studied at the Samarkand branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies and obtained a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. From 2014 to 2016, he earned a master's degree in computer engineering at the same university.

Since April 2020, he has been serving as an Advisor to the Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan on digitalization and information technologies.

2007 – Winner of the Internet Festival "My Glorious Samarkand" organized by the youth movement "Kamolot", nominated as "Most Active Participant" in Samarkand;

2009-2010 – IT Manager at “Intway Service” LLC;

2011-2018 – Head of IT Department at “L’art du design” LLC;

2012 – Speaker and certificate holder at the professional Internet conference “USENET-2012” in Tashkent;

2013 – Winner of the “Voice of the Future 2013” contest held by the Kamolot youth movement in Samarkand;

2013 – Laureate of the republican competition “Yurt Kelajagi 2013” organized by the youth social movement "Kamolot";

2013 – Laureate of the UZ 2013 national domain Internet Festival in the nomination “Best Website in the Field of Culture”;

2016-2018 – Founder and Managing Partner of the digital agency “BOBU IT SERVICES” in Dubai;

2016 – Awarded a diploma at “World Science UAE 2016” for his active research and significant contribution to the development of modern science;

2017 – Working on a doctoral dissertation in the field of using smart technologies in forming “Digital Uzbekistan”;

2018 – Director of the IT company SmartChain LLC;

2018 – Winner of the “Best Innovative Project” nomination at the international exhibition “InnoWeek-2018”;

2019 – Author of the first Smart Museum in Central Asia located in Samarkand based on the example of Amir Temur’s mausoleum. This project was presented by the author during the visit of South Korean President Moon Jae-in to Samarkand in April 2019 alongside the President of Uzbekistan;

2019 – Author of the open-air Smart Museum “Ichan-Kala” and the “Mennonite Germans” Smart Museum in Khiva. The project was presented to the Federal President of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier during his visit to Khiva in June 2019;

2019 – Laureate in the “Smart Tourism” nomination at the international exhibition “InnoWeek-2019”;

2020 – Awarded a certificate for successfully implementing a digital platform for the online organization of the International Week of Innovative Ideas “InnoWeek-2020”;

2020 – Awarded the state award medal “Builder of the Future”.

He has published more than 20 scientific articles in international journals and delivered presentations at international conferences, seminars, and forums.

Author of 8 innovative IT developments and holder of 18 international authorship certificates and patents for IT products implemented in Uzbekistan and exported abroad. These include software for payment systems, banks, and clearing centers (Allpay), payment services (ALD), the NazzAR augmented reality platform, Tourist Live Postcards interactive smart card franchise, NazzAR.SM Smart Museum, AR-AVATAR Virtual Assistant, NazzAR.VM Virtual Museum, and Digital EXPO – a digital platform for virtual exhibitions.

These high-tech developments are actively being implemented in education, tourism, culture, exhibition activities, business, and the banking sector. For example, NazzAR.SM, based on augmented reality technology, has been implemented in more than 30 museums across 6 regions of Uzbekistan. The author has received letters containing opinions and feedback confirming the successful implementation of the project.

The IT solutions in the fields of culture and tourism demonstrated on the NazzAR platform at international exhibitions and festivals have further enhanced Uzbekistan's reputation as a modern, innovative country.
