Today, April 15, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, the II Forum of Rectors of Universities of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan started at the Tashkent State University of Economics.
The conference “2030: priorities for the development of higher education and science in Uzbekistan and Tajikistan” was attended by rectors of 30 prestigious higher education institutions, led by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahim Saidzoda. The delegation of Uzbekistan is represented by more than 50 heads of higher educational institutions, heads of ministries and departments.
The forum discusses integration between higher educational institutions of our country and universities of Tajikistan, academic mobility of teaching staff, organization of mutual learning processes, improving the quality of education, exchange of experience, internships, issues of professional development. Development and cooperation in scientific activities are also discussed.
Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kungirotboy Sharipov made an opening speech and spoke about the work carried out by the two countries in recent years and the significant results of this work.
