The award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the republican “Future Engineers” competition was recently held at INNO Technopark in Tashkent.
In the competition’s categories of “Best Idea”, “Best Project” and “Best Invention”, students, practising engineers, and professors and teachers presented their innovative ideas and developments.
The scale of the competition is also noteworthy: out of 1,925 applications, 635 projects were submitted in the “Best Project” category. This category brought together 347 students, 177 practising engineers, and 111 professors and teachers. Following the selection and acceleration stages, 90 participants advanced to the final.
Amid such strong competition, TUIT student Ismoilov Biloliddin Islombek ugli, with his “Shunqor 8” project, outperformed all his competitors and took first place, receiving the President’s Gift — a BYD Chazor electric vehicle.
This achievement is particularly significant as it marks the first time in TUIT’s history that a university student has won the top prize in this category of this prestigious republican competition.
The achievements of TUIT representatives were further strengthened by another result. In the Professor and Teacher category, TUIT researcher Qodirov Zarif Zafarovich took third place with his “Robocontest” project.
The extensive opportunities created by our esteemed President for young people to realise their knowledge and potential and implement their innovative ideas and projects are now yielding tangible results. TUIT’s young people are making effective use of these opportunities and demonstrating their knowledge and talent at prestigious competitions held at the national level.
