The Rector of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT), Professor B. Makhkamov, conducted an on-site review of the conditions created for students at the university, the state of student residences, and the level of preparedness for the 2025/2026 academic year autumn–winter season.
During the visit, special attention was paid to the condition of student dormitories on the university campus, the efficiency of heating systems in academic buildings, energy supply and safety issues, as well as the organization of an uninterrupted and high-quality educational process.
Following the inspection, the Rector issued clear instructions to promptly eliminate the identified shortcomings, particularly to ensure a comfortable, warm, and safe environment in academic and residential buildings during cold weather. Responsibility for implementing the assigned tasks was delegated to relevant officials, and their execution was placed under continuous supervision.
These measures are of great importance in ensuring that students receive quality education during the winter season, live in safe and comfortable conditions, and that the educational process continues without interruption.
