On March 29, a job fair is organized at the University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi at the initiative of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The purpose of the event is to attract gifted and highly qualified personnel in companies, enterprises and organizations, ICT sectors, employment of young professionals.
It is known that the head of our state, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, pays special attention to protect the rights and interests of population, especially young people, ensuring employment, and creating new jobs by modernizing production processes. In this regard, in order to ensure further economic growth, many projects are being implemented to widely introduce advanced technologies into practice, ensuring the integration of science, education and production. In addition, the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 15, 2017 “On measures of further improvement the activities of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies” opened up new prospects for a radical transformation of the system of training ICT specialists for the leading sectors of the country's economy.
In order to provide special departments of state, economic management and local authorities with ICT specialists, to attract qualified specialists to the industry, a database of potential personnel is being continuously formed. Among them are JSC “Uzbektelecom”, JSC “Matbuot tarkatuvchi”, JSC “Uzbekistan pochtasi”, GUP “EMMM”, GUP “UNICON.UZ”, Unified Integrator LLC “UZINFOCOM”, GUP “RAKM”, State Inspectorate for Control in Sphere communications, informatization and telecommunication technologies, JSCB “Aloqabank”, etc.
The enterprises of the industry presented 225 vacancies, enterprises of the socio-economic sphere and private entrepreneurship offer more than 1.2 thousand vacancies.
It should be noted that in the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi and its branches in the 2018-2019 academic year, 2,809 graduate students are studying who associate their further work activities with the ICT industry.
