The Minister of Development of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov visited Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi
✅They got acquainted with the state of constructions in the facility under construction and repair at TUIT and the preparations for the 2022/2023 academic year. Currently, the reconstruction works of two 9-story educational buildings are being completed. This educational building is designed for 1,500 students and has 7 lecture rooms, 21 classrooms and 9 computer rooms.
During the visit, the state of preparation of the university for the 2022/2023 academic year, in particular, the preparation of educational auditoriums, laboratory rooms, and educational regulatory documents for the new academic year, was reviewed. In addition, the need to organize teaching processes in an integrated manner in order to develop the practical skills and professional skills of the university students who are studying was emphasized, in order to fundamentally improve the system of training qualified personnel, which is in high demand in the IT sector of our country, and to develop scientific potential.
✅During the presentation, the Minister of ICT gave his suggestions on the ongoing work. In particular, tasks were given to focus on creating comfortable conditions for students and improving the quality of education and internal creative environment. Also, on the same day, the Minister of ICT got acquainted with the construction works and conditions outside the student dormitories of Tashkent University of Information Technologies.
During the meeting, the Minister of ICT gave special assignments on repairing the internal living rooms of TUIT student dormitories in accordance with the requirements of upcoming year, especially taking into account the suggestions and wishes of students, on the basis of a special plan, to create comfortable conditions for students, improve the living environment and spend their free time
