A system has been established to support startups. A total of $145 million in venture capital has been invested in funding them.
Our President stated that this amount will be increased to $1 billion.
Now, this work will begin from school. A “Skills and Business Hour” will be introduced for students, and 100 billion UZS in grants will be allocated to turn their ideas into startups.
An annual “Best Creative Idea” competition will also be held among universities for startups, and winners will be awarded up to 300 million UZS in grants from university funds.
To convert a startup into a prototype and conduct trials, the Innovation Agency and IT Park will establish an “R&D” center.
In this process, up to $50,000 of prototype development costs for the best projects will be covered by the Youth Venture Fund.
Every year, a “Startup Expo” exhibition will be held with the participation of investors, large enterprises, and startup initiators.
