Overview
TUIT serves as a primary driver of Uzbekistan’s digital economy talent pipeline. During 2024–2025, the University advanced SDG 8 through career readiness infrastructure, startup ecosystem funding, industry partnerships, professional certification pathways, and direct contribution to graduate

Research & Innovation
TUIT’s Scopus portfolio includes 31 articles (1.3%) classified under SDG 8, covering digital economy systems, fintech, e-commerce, and labour market analytics (Source). Entrepreneurship translates research into economic value:
- President Tech Award (Season 2): Five TUIT teams won prizes totalling $400,000 in the social-sector category (total competition prize fund: $1,000,000) TUIT teams win President Tech Award
