Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT) has made its debut in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025
The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is the only global performance ranking that assesses universities' alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This ranking evaluates universities based on how they implement and promote these goals in their activities.
TUIT has been included in the 2025 rankings, securing a place in the 1001+ category among 1,406 universities worldwide. Notably, despite participating for the first time, the university has demonstrated relatively high results in specific goals.
The following rankings have been assigned based on distinct criteria of the UN Sustainable Development Goals within the framework of this ranking:
• Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8): TUIT is ranked 601–800, reflecting the effectiveness of efforts in recent years to ensure student employment.
• Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (SDG 9): TUIT is ranked 601+.
• Reducing Inequalities (SDG 10): TUIT is ranked 601+.
• Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16): TUIT is ranked 601+.
