Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi “Bostonliq Training Ground”
At the training ground of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, located in the village of Khondoyliq, Bo‘stonliq district, Tashkent region, the following conditions are provided for staff members, teaching staff, and students to relax during the summer vacation:
There are 7 cottages for 177 people and one two-storey building, a kitchen with facilities, two water storage systems, separate swimming pools for adults and children, and a conference hall.
Total area of the training ground – 8.1 hectares.
The training ground has 177 places, including 152 standard and 25 comfortable accommodations. This year’s season is scheduled from July 1 to August 25. The one-day voucher price without meals is 150,000 soums per person. For university staff and faculty members, the discounted price is 100,000 soums per person per day without meals.
The cottages include the following amenities:
- hot and cold water;
- shower rooms;
- refrigerator;
- television;
- gas stove.
Additionally, for recreation, guests have access to table tennis, chess and checkers, badminton, and evening entertainment programs featuring performances by the “TUIT Club” amateur artists.
During the labor vacation period, the trade union committee has developed an event plan to help restore the health of the vacationers, provide medical assistance when necessary, ensure enjoyable recreation, and carry out entertainment activities.
Activities carried out during the 2023 season:
At the initiative of the Rector of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, a number of measures have been implemented to improve the quality, form, and content of education based on innovative pedagogical technologies, to develop students’ creative abilities, to instill creativity, to nurture talents that contribute to scientific progress, and to enhance the capacity of professors and teachers. In the summer of 2022, university administrative staff, professors and teachers, as well as students who are talented and active in university life from all faculties, were involved in these research initiatives. Also, several open discussions without dress code in the format of “Team Building” meetings were organized during the summer break. A total of over 350 staff members and more than 1,000 students participated in these events.
In addition, in 2023, a two-day recreation program was organized for a group of staff from the university’s economic department at the expense of the university administration, involving more than 70 employees.
Since 2023 was declared the “Year of Attention to People and Quality Education,” as a result of reforms in the field of education for the current and upcoming academic years, efforts have been intensified to further develop students’ creative abilities, to instill creativity, to nurture talents contributing to scientific progress, and to increase the potential of professors and teachers. Work has been carried out to expand the use of the training ground and to increase the number of scientific research projects conducted there.
The administration of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi organized a “Team Building” session where the leadership and senior staff held open discussions without dress codes to address work-related issues.






During the “Team Building” event, various quizzes were held among the senior staff. The most exciting contest of the day was the “Pilaf Cooking” competition, in which six teams prepared pilaf dishes according to traditions from different regions.
The prepared pilaf dishes were enjoyed together, and the best one was selected. The winners were duly awarded and given commemorative gifts. The recreational experience in nature was very meaningful and enjoyable. A total of 122 senior staff members participated in the event. The total cost of the event was 14.5 million soums, which was spent on transportation, food products, and delicacies for the festive table.
The administration of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi also organized an open “Team Building” meeting without dress codes for a group of talented and active students from all faculties who are actively involved in university life.
