The Zarafshan Faculty was established based on the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-430 dated December 12, 2024, titled “On Additional Measures for the Socio-Economic Development of the Navoi Region.”
For the 2025/2026 academic year, the faculty conducts admission for distance learning programs in two fields of study:

Students are currently pursuing their studies and conducting scientific and creative research in these areas.
About the Faculty:
The Zarafshan Faculty aims to train specialists in modern technologies among young people interested in IT. In this regard, it is planned to prepare highly qualified professionals for strategically important large industrial enterprises located in the city of Zarafshan, Navoi region.
One of the key aspects of the faculty’s activity is that students undergo practical training at these enterprises. A major objective of the faculty is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become leaders in the fields of computer engineering and software engineering.
In addition to academic programs, the faculty provides students with modern classrooms equipped with up-to-date technologies and modern IT libraries to facilitate practical training.
To create additional convenience for students enrolled in distance learning programs at TUIT, agreements have been made with higher education institutions, information resource centers, and training centers operating in the students’ regions of residence. This allows students to use the information and communication infrastructure of these institutions. Accordingly, students of the Zarafshan Faculty are also able to take advantage of such opportunities.
