Information about the student dormitories available at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi under the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan
INFORMATION
- The Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi has 4 student dormitories with a total capacity of 2,536 places. The 1st dormitory is located at 108 Amir Temur Street, Yunusabad District, a 9-story building designed for 1,067 places, with rooms that can accommodate 3 to 4 people on each floor. The 2nd dormitory is located at 7 Bog'ishamol Street, Yunusabad District, in a 4-story building with a capacity of 493 places. The 3rd dormitory is located at 117 Amir Temur Street, Yunusabad District, in a 4-story building designed for 652 places. The 4th dormitory is located at 119 Amir Temur Street, Yunusabad District, and is designed for 324 places. Each floor of the dormitories is equipped with kitchens and dining rooms, and the first floor has laundry and shower rooms that meet modern standards. A medical room is operational to ensure the health of students. The spirituality and enlightenment rooms are supplied with the latest issues of 12 types of newspapers and magazines so that students can stay informed about events and developments in the country and the world. Each dormitory also has a functioning library.
- All rooms in the dormitories are fully furnished, and
each room is equipped with desks and chairs for studying, wardrobes, bookshelves, bedside tables, carpets, and beds for the students.












On the first floor of the 1st dormitory building, special rooms, a kitchen (equipped with refrigerator, washing machine, and gas stove), shower rooms, and toilets have been set up for students with disabilities in need of social protection. Separate ramps are available for disabled students to enter and exit the building. Caretakers are assigned to assist students with disabilities.
In all the dormitories belonging to the university, promotional materials have been placed in the spirituality rooms reflecting the seven directions of the Development Strategy, and on each floor, posters featuring relevant clauses of the Law on Youth Policy have been installed.




On the first floor of each dormitory building, boards with QR codes providing access to books by Uzbek and world-famous poets and writers, as well as QR codes for accessing the national libraries, the TUIT central library, and branch libraries, have been installed. Promotional materials reflecting reforms in the field of education and upbringing are displayed in the “Spirituality Room” and “5 Important Initiatives” rooms.




Each dormitory includes rooms for students' cultural leisure, an information resource center, sports sections, rooms for academic and artistic clubs, a library, domestic service rooms, and necessary sports equipment.
