A spiritual-educational event titled “Reading Books — an Ancient Value of Our Nation” was held through the initiative of G. Mansurova and M. Korakhodjayeva, lecturers of the Department of Russian and Uzbek Languages at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, in cooperation with U. Abdulkhamidova, the youth leader of the “Khiyobontepa” citizens’ assembly of Yunusabad district, staff members of the TUIT Information Resource Centre, and university students.
During the event, the guests and participants, especially the students, spoke about the invaluable importance of reading in the development of human intellect, worldview, and professional growth. They emphasized the need to continue the tradition of “Love for Books” and actively promote it among young people.
The students noted that in today’s competitive era, becoming a true professional requires continuous reading, research, and self-improvement.
Encouraging our youth to develop a love for books is one of our most important responsibilities. A nation that reads will always have a bright future.
