Yandex has started accepting applications for the Yandex ML Prize international scientific award.
Winners will be awarded 70 million soums, and scientific supervisors will be awarded 140 million soums. Also, Yandex Cloud will provide grants to the winners, which will allow them to perform cloud computing on the platform, process data from experiments and train ML-models.
In 2024, the award will be presented in 5 nominations:
- First edition
- Researchers
- Young scientific leaders
- Scientific leaders
- ML teachers
Applications will be accepted from May 6 to June 21, 2024.
The Yandex ML Prize award ceremony will take place in autumn 2024. The award's expert panel includes international AI researchers and experts.
