On November 24-25 of this year, the final stage of “TUIT OPEN 2018” programming competition was held at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
On November 24, a meeting of participants from all over the country, as well as the opening ceremony of the tournament was held. In addition, in order to organize leisure and closer acquaintance of participants, the Gaming round was organized.
It should be noted that the purpose of the tournament is further development of ICT industry, to increase and stimulate the interest of students and young people in programming, the creation of innovative ideas in the field of ICT.
The competition was attended by 34 teams from all regions of the country, 9 teams of which represented teams of academic lyceums and vocational colleges. Competitions were held online on assignments based on the programming languages C ++, Java, Pyhton, Pascal. Assignments were developed by NEERC ICPC Chief Justice Oleg Kristenko.
In addition, the prize fund for the winners was established by organizers. In particular, 9 million were assigned for the winners who took the first place, 6 million and 3 million respectively for the second and third places.
On November 25 the main stage of the programming tournament was held. The results of competition were announced on the same day, and award ceremony was held.
In accordance with the results of the competition, the first place was taken by the team of the Tashkent branch of Moscow State University named after M. Lomonosov “MSU Tashkent 0”, the second place was taken by the team of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi “TUIT: ALVA", the third place went to the team of TUIT Urgench branch “TUIT Urgench Branch masters”.
