The “Telecommunications Engineering” Department of the Faculty of Telecommunication Technologies at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, in cooperation with the CityNet internet provider, has launched a new course entitled “Subscriber Access Networks and Internet Service Provider Technologies.”

On 28 February 2026, the first session of the course took place.
During the course, students will gain the opportunity to learn:
• The structure of a real internet service provider (ISP) network;
• “Last Mile” technologies;
• Practical experience based on real ISP operations together with CityNet specialists;
• How to independently configure an ISP network after completing the course;
• Professional-level preparation for working in the ISP field.
