A number of works are being carried out in connection with the transformation of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, the introduction of engineering schools, and the introduction of practice-oriented and dual education. In this process, special attention is paid to the study of foreign experience in order to strengthen the integration between education, research and production.
For this purpose, a discussion was held with Dr. Jamil Salmi, a global expert on higher education who has worked as a consultant for transformation processes in the governments and universities of about 105 countries of the world in the last 30 years.
In it, opinions were exchanged on issues such as financial stability in higher education, quality assurance, creation of TOP universities and strategic development. In particular, the experiences of strengthening the integration between education, research and production in TOP universities were discussed.
