On March 17, a delegation led by Ismoilzod Hakim, First Deputy Director of the Agency for Innovations and Digital Technologies under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Tajikistan, visited Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
During the visit, delegation members were introduced to the university's scientific and educational laboratories, industry-academia centers, Media Center, Incubation Center, and laboratories established in collaboration with partner industry enterprises within the Higher School of Engineering.
In the ensuing meeting, discussions focused on establishing cooperative relations, including the potential opening of a TUIT branch in Tajikistan, sharing research outcomes in the field of artificial intelligence, and matters concerning staff exchanges.
Ismoilzod Hakim emphasized the longstanding commonalities between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, noting that despite being two independent states with distinct borders, their peoples have coexisted harmoniously for millennia. He extended an invitation to TUIT representatives to visit the Tajik Technical University named after Osimi, located in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, to further strengthen these ties.
