
In cooperation with the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, the KOICA Agency of the Republic of Korea, and Kookmin University, Living Lab zones were opened within the framework of the "Global IT Business Education at TUIT" program for 2022-2027, with a total value of $5 million.
The main goal of the project is to strengthen the potential of higher education in Uzbekistan, cultivate innovative talents in the field of ICT for the digital economy, and develop industrial-academic cooperation.
Within the framework of this project, in order to support innovative education and scientific research, a digital production workshop, a complex of advanced scientific laboratories was built, which will allow the implementation of new ideas based on modern technologies, such as a 3D printer, laser cutter, CNC.
In particular, these laboratories enable the development of smart solutions based on Artificial Intelligence and IoT, the creation of mobile and web application prototypes, 3D modeling, advancement of VR/AR technologies, and the implementation of research. This creates extensive opportunities for training competitive personnel for the international IT market, as well as for the creation of startups, innovative projects, and software products.
Through these opportunities, students will be able to test their ideas and startups in practice and participate in real projects based on international experience and cutting-edge knowledge.
