  • A New Step Toward International Cooperation at TUIT!

Recently, representatives of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) — Farid Nakhli (Program Coordinator) and Konstantin Savin (Expert) — visited the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
🔎 During the visit, the guests became acquainted with the university’s scientific laboratories, modern infrastructure, and the conditions created for students.
🤝 Following that, the parties discussed several areas of cooperation, including:
• TUIT’s progress toward ITU membership and prospects for becoming a full member;
• Opportunities for TUIT students and faculty to participate in ITU-organized competitions, scholarship programs, and standardization processes;
• Collaborative plans aligned with ITU’s key missions in promoting digital literacy, innovation, and sustainable development in information and communication technologies.
🗒 ITU is a leading organization that supports innovation through education and sets global standards in the field of information and communication technologies.
