

Today, 10 June, the international scientific and methodological conference “Digital Education: Methodology, Technology and Innovation” (ICDEMTI 2026) successfully concluded at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
The conference brought together scholars, faculty members, doctoral researchers, and master’s students from Uzbekistan and abroad to exchange views on current issues and emerging trends in digital education.
The plenary session focused on the following key topics:
▫️ Opportunities, risks, and governance mechanisms of generative artificial intelligence in education;
▫️ Achievements and future plans for the development of the digital education ecosystem;
▫️ Higher education policy and issues of the digital divide in Uzbekistan;
▫️ Artificial intelligence literacy and methodologies for its assessment.
During the conference’s parallel sessions, participants presented and discussed research papers dedicated to digital education methodology, modern technologies, and innovative approaches, engaging in comprehensive academic discussions.
The conference served as an important platform for strengthening scientific cooperation, promoting the exchange of best practices, and advancing the development of digital education.
