On January 30, the "Spirituality and Enlightenment" center was inaugurated at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi. The opening ceremony was attended by Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies, Kongratbay Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations, university leadership, professors, and teaching staff.
The center was established within the framework of the expanded meeting of the Republican Council for Spirituality and Enlightenment, chaired by the President on December 22, 2023. Purpose of the Center is o instill respect for national history, culture, and heritage among young people and to enhance students' intellectual and creative potential.
