🗓 On 30 January of this year, the Uzbekistan stage of the international ActInSpace hackathon was successfully held at Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Tashkent University of Information Technologies. The event was organized in cooperation with CNES, Uzcosmos and TUIT.

👨‍💻 More than 100 talented young participants from various regions of Uzbekistan took part in the hackathon. Over two days, the participants worked in teams on real space-related challenges with the support of professional mentors and developed innovative solutions within a short period of time.

🌍 ActInSpace is an international hackathon dedicated to space technologies, satellites, aerospace challenges and innovative solutions. Its main aim is to foster innovative thinking in the space sector among young people, support start-up ideas and engage talented students in applied projects.
🏆 According to the competition results:

✔️ 1st place — NazarX team
The winning team developed a satellite platform composed of modules with magnetic connections. This project enables satellites to be assembled, upgraded and repaired on Earth or in orbit, similar to a LEGO construction set.

✔️ 2nd place — French Gambit team
Their AutoDock AI project is an intelligent hub designed for payload transportation, enabling scientific research to be carried out without human involvement through the use of robotic manipulators.

✔️ 3rd place — Yggdrasil team
They presented the ClearSat-L project, a 3U nanosatellite designed to eliminate space debris. The project focuses on detecting space debris and reducing its orbital velocity using ultraviolet lasers, artificial intelligence and lidar systems.

🇫🇷 The NazarX team earned the right to represent Uzbekistan at the international final stage of the ActInSpace hackathon, which will be held in Bordeaux, France. The remaining prize-winning teams were granted the opportunity to undertake internships at the Uzcosmos Agency.
