On 24 September, Shin Teo, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) representative and Head of AWS Academy for the APAC and MENA regions (Singapore), visited Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
During the visit, the guest familiarised himself with the university’s modern infrastructure, including the Fab Lab and Media Centre, as well as its educational and technological capabilities.
A special masterclass on AWS Academy was also organised for TUIT academic staff. The session provided information on cloud technologies, the AWS ecosystem, modern IT skills and the opportunities offered by the AWS Academy programme in the educational process.
The meeting provided an important platform for academic staff to exchange experience with representatives of an international technology company and learn about new educational opportunities within the AWS Academy programme.
