The “Meeting Between the Mayor and Youth” was held at the Zarafshan Faculty of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
During the meeting, the Mayor of Zarafshan spoke about the work being carried out in our country to comprehensively support young people. He also discussed current events taking place on the global stage and emphasised that young people should draw the right conclusions from them and contribute meaningfully to the peace and development of our country.
The second part of the meeting was held in the format of an open dialogue between the mayor and the youth. During the discussion, presentations of projects implemented by students were demonstrated. The mayor also noted that the proposals and suggestions expressed by the students would be carefully considered.
It should be noted that starting from the 2026–2027 academic year, the Zarafshan Faculty of TUIT plans to admit students to “Artificial Intelligence” and “Cybersecurity” programmes in the full-time mode of study.
