As part of “ICTWEEK UZBEKISTAN – 2026”, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi and the Telecommunications Regulatory Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Memorandum provides for the development of cooperation in such areas as improving the effectiveness of telecommunications regulation, enhancing the quality of IT and mobile services, improving the regulatory and legal and regulatory and technical framework, advancing digitalisation, and developing modern digital solutions.
In addition, the parties plan to implement joint research and practical projects in telecommunications network monitoring, digital labelling, information and analytical systems, and artificial intelligence technologies; develop dual education; involve TUIT students, Master’s students and academic staff in sector-specific projects; and organise seminars, training sessions and professional development activities.
