In connection with the 33rd anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the 77th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a round table discussion was held in the building of the Authorized Representative of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman) on the topic "The Constitution of Uzbekistan and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: Harmony and Consistency."
Within the framework of the event, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between TUIT and the Ombudsman. This document provides for conducting scientific and practical research in the field of human rights, improving the legal culture of students, establishing the activities of the "School of Human Rights," and harmonizing the educational process with practice.
At the conference, the rector of TUIT, Prof. B. Makhkamov, as well as employees of the Ombudsman's office, participated and discussed topical aspects of ensuring and protecting human rights, issues of raising the legal awareness and culture of youth.
✅ This memorandum will serve as an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation and implementing new initiatives in the fields of education, research, and law.
