On March 27–28, 2026, a major international CTF (Capture The Flag) cybersecurity competition was held at the ESIEE Paris engineering school in Paris.

HackDay 2026 is an international cybersecurity competition designed for university students. The qualifying round was held online from January 23–25, 2026, with over 200 teams (more than 1200 participants) from 58 countries participating. According to the qualifying results, Uzbekistan's "ChiLL Chain" team ranked 11th among 1092 participants and became the first Uzbek team to qualify for the final in Paris.

Mentor of the TUIT Cybersecurity Club, Umurzokov Kuvonchbek, represented Uzbekistan with honor under the name of the "ChiLL Chain" (Call the Team) team in this prestigious competition.

The team competed against 22 international teams in Paris, solving several complex tasks among the first, and took an honorable 6th place in the final.

🇺🇿 This result once again confirms that young cybersecurity specialists from Uzbekistan and TUIT students can compete successfully on the global stage.

The TUIT team congratulates our student on their international success!
