On December 2-4, 2025, a student of our university successfully participated in the final stage of the international Jeopardy-style CTF competition within the framework of the Black Hat MEA 2025 conference, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Black Hat MEA is one of the largest cybersecurity events on a global scale, annually bringing together more than 40,000 cybersecurity specialists, more than 450 leading companies, and more than 300 speakers from around the world.
The head of the Cybersecurity Club of TUIT, a 4th-year student of the KIF faculty, Umurzakov Kuvonchbek, as part of the "ChiLL Chain" team representing Uzbekistan, reached the final stage. Among 125 strong teams that passed the preliminary qualifiers, 49th place was recorded in the final.
Kuvanchbek also actively participated in additional CTF competitions held within the framework of the Black Hat MEA and was awarded valuable prizes.
This result once again confirms that young cybersecurity specialists and TUIT students from Uzbekistan can compete worthily in the global arena.
The TUIT team congratulates Umurzakov Kuvanchbek on his international success and wishes him great success in his future career!
