To promote domestic tourism and provide students with an opportunity to explore historical monuments and national architectural masterpieces, the trip to the ancient city of Samarkand was organized for the students of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi under the slogan "A Healthy Person – A Healthy Nation Caravan Heads to Samarkand."
🇺🇿 Currently, the travel group is visiting the Gur-e-Amir Mausoleum. Throughout the trip, students will immerse themselves in rich cultural heritage, historical landmarks, and national values of Samarkand, exploring sites where our great ancestors lived and created their legacies. They will visit historical sites such as Registan Square, Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Afrasiab settlement, Shah-i-Zinda Mausoleum Complex, Ulugbek Observatory, Hazrat Dawood Shrine, Imam al-Bukhari Mausoleum, and the ancient Siyob Bazaar, gaining valuable information about the invaluable architectural monuments left by our ancestors.
🎓 The youth of TUIT will continue to contribute to the development of domestic tourism, the study and promotion of national heritage!
