UZBEKISTAN — WORLD CHAMPION IN ROBOTICS!
At the FIRST Global Challenge 2026 international robotics competition, held in Incheon, South Korea, from 7 to 10 October, the Uzbekistan national team won three gold medals, securing the overall championship title!
💻 Notably, the head coach of the Uzbekistan national team was Makhkambek Teshabayev, a student at TUIT. Zarif Qodirov, a TUIT staff member, also supported the team as an assistant coach.
🥇 From Silver to Gold — Steady Steps Towards the Goal! In 2024, the Uzbekistan national team achieved an honourable second place among teams from 180 countries, winning five silver medals. At that time, the goal was to win gold. In 2026, that goal became a reality! This victory is a remarkable result of our young people's knowledge, tireless hard work, and the dedication of their mentors.
🎉 The gold medal is not the end of the journey, but the beginning of new achievements!
