From 2 to 4 April 2026, the TUIT – Samarkand International Forum was successfully held in Samarkand, bringing together students of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT) and nearly 500 participants, including international students from more than 20 countries. The forum was conducted under the motto:
“Science, Sports and Entrepreneurship — the Source of Strength, Youth — the Bright Future!”
This forum became a practical reflection of the initiatives promoted by the President aimed at strengthening openness, youth diplomacy, and expanding international cooperation. Participants included young people not only from Central Asian countries but also from a number of European and Asian nations, including France, the Netherlands, China, Malaysia, South Korea, Türkiye, and others, once again demonstrating the forum’s transformation into a large-scale international platform.
🌍 Throughout the forum, cultural exchange, friendship-building, and new cooperation initiatives among young people were actively fostered.
🗒 Within the programme framework, the following events were organised:
— Opening ceremony of the “Engineering Month”
— Startup exhibition under the slogan “Universities — Generators of Startups”
— Intellectual competitions and “Five Initiatives” sports events
— “Rector and Youth Meeting”
— Cultural events reflecting national traditions
— Excursions to the historical landmarks of Samarkand
— A musical festival
🏆 Winners in all categories were duly awarded.
This forum contributed to the development of domestic tourism, introduced young people to the rich historical heritage of the country, and enhanced the international reputation of Uzbekistan. Most importantly, the forum united youth from different countries and created a solid foundation for future cooperation in science, sports, innovation, and startup development.
TUIT once again demonstrated its potential not only as an educational institution but also as a modern innovative platform serving as a bridge between nations and cultures.
