Professor of the Department of Artificial Intelligence of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Abdusalomov Akmalbek Bobomirzaevich and Assistant of the Department of Cryptology Kurbonaliyeva Dilshoda Vali kizi won the short-term scientific internship competition for young scientists of the Agency for Innovative Development and from November 24 to December 25, 2025 are participating in an internship at the University of Balıkesir in Turkey.
During the internship, they are becoming familiar with modern scientific methods in image processing, advanced research trends, and their practical applications. They are also gaining experience in the use of artificial intelligence and honeypot technologies for detecting network attacks. Throughout the internship, current issues, modern solutions, and opportunities for joint research in the fields of image processing and cybersecurity are being discussed.
Additionally, a meeting was held with a team led by Prof. Ayhan İstanbullu, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering at Balıkesir University, regarding an Uzbekistan–Turkey joint scientific project aimed at developing a real-time, AI-based system for detecting and monitoring fires in agricultural areas.
