On 11–12 September, the Rector of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi (TUIT), B. Makhkamov, held a series of strategic meetings with Dain Leaders, a leading South Korean IT company, and the Global Digital Innovation Network (GDIN) Foundation, an independent organization operating under the Ministry of Science and ICT of the Republic of Korea.
During the visit, Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) were signed, establishing a framework for long-term collaboration between the parties.The partnership with GDIN Foundation will focus on expanding TUIT’s startup ecosystem by supporting student startups in entering the South Korean market, developing investment mechanisms, launching acceleration and investment programs, and promoting knowledge exchange and professional capacity building.
Collaboration with Dain Leaders, a recognized provider of digital education platforms, will include the implementation of new investment projects in the ICT sector, the enhancement of existing digital systems, cooperation in project management and technical expertise, and the delivery of educational and ICT consulting services.
These partnerships represent another important step in TUIT’s internationalization strategy, strengthening innovation-driven collaboration between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea in higher education, technology, and entrepreneurship.
