On 29–30 September, a team from Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi is participating in the CyberKumbez competition, held as part of the KazHackStan-2026 international cybersecurity event in Astana, Kazakhstan.
In the Red Team category, 37 teams are competing against each other. Representatives from Azerbaijan, Serbia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan are taking part in the competition.
🇺🇿 Six teams are representing Uzbekistan in this category, including TUIT’s “Oblivion” team.
The competition is being held in a continuous 24/7 format, with participants competing to identify vulnerabilities in information systems, carry out attack scenarios, assess the level of system protection and complete complex technical tasks.
The international competition provides an important opportunity for our students to strengthen their practical knowledge and skills, learn from the experience of foreign teams and demonstrate their potential in the international cybersecurity environment.
