On May 3, the final stage of the “CanSat Uzbekistan–2025” competition, organized by the Uzcosmos agency, is taking place at the “Yangi Hayot” airfield in the Urta Chirchik district. Students of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi are participating alongside selected teams from across the republic.
As part of the competition, microsatellites created by school and university students are being launched to an altitude of 2 km using real rockets. This provides young people not only with a chance to showcase their technological innovations, but also to build a strong foundation for future engineering and space projects.
