In order to implement the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-158 dated 16 October 2024 and to strengthen integration between vocational education institutions and higher education, a modern TUIT-LAB innovation training room was established at the Republican Television and Radio Technical School under the sponsorship of Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi.
On 20 November 2025, the ceremonial opening was attended by TUIT Rector B. Sh. Makhkamov, Head of the Tashkent City Department of Higher Education, Science and Innovation B. A. Radjabov, university staff, the technical school administration, and professors and teachers.
The TUIT-LAB innovation room was fully renovated based on the design of TUIT’s Innovation and Incubation Centers, creating a comfortable educational environment for the technical school students. The room was equipped with:
• 20 modern computer systems
• 15 computer desks and chairs
• 15 desks and 30 chairs
• An interactive display panel
• 40 printed book titles
• More than 500 electronic educational resources
• The technical school's library database was integrated with the TUIT Academic Resource Centre (ARC)
During the event, visitors familiarized themselves with the technical school’s educational processes, programs, laboratories, and the work of its professors and teachers. Students were given recommendations on studying modern technologies in depth and becoming highly qualified specialists.
