The list of specialisations related to priority areas for the training of scientific personnel has been re-approved on the basis of Decree No. PF–98 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 26 May 2026 and Order No. 267 of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation dated 1 July 2026.
📌 Under the priority area “Digital and Information Technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Analysis and Development of Digital Solutions”, the following specialisations have been identified:
🔹 05.01.01 – Engineering Geometry and Computer Graphics. Audio and Video Technologies
🔹 05.01.02 – Systems Analysis, Control and Information Processing
🔹 05.01.03 – Theoretical Foundations of Informatics
🔹 05.01.04 – Mathematical and Software Support for Computing Machines, Complexes and Computer Networks
🔹 05.01.05 – Information Protection Methods and Systems. Information and Cybersecurity
🔹 05.01.07 – Mathematical Modelling. Numerical Methods and Software Complexes
🔹 05.01.10 – Information Retrieval Systems and Processes
🔹 05.01.11 – Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence
🔹 05.04.01 – Telecommunications and Computer Systems, Telecommunication Networks and Devices. Information Distribution
🔹 05.04.02 – Radio Engineering, Radio Navigation, Radar and Television Systems and Devices. Mobile Fibre-Optic Communication Systems
🏛 The availability of these specialisations at Muhammad al-Khwarizmi Tashkent University of Information Technologies demonstrates the university’s broad opportunities for training scientific personnel in these priority areas.
🎓 Starting from 2027, special attention will be given to these areas during the admission process to the basic doctoral program, doctoral program and independent researcher programs in these priority specialisations.
Please note that, starting from 2027, doctoral students admitted to basic doctoral and doctoral programs in specialisations related to the priority areas will receive a scholarship increased by 1.7 times.
