A historic milestone took place at Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi – for the first time in the history of higher education institutions in Uzbekistan, undergraduate students majoring in Artificial Intelligence successfully defended their graduation theses under the Department of Artificial Intelligence!
Graduates of the Mechatronics and Robotics program also presented the results of their scientific and practical research.
The theses presented during the defense process covered the following modern areas:
• Application of artificial intelligence algorithms to real-life problems;
• Development and modeling of intelligent control systems and robotic devices;
• Systems for automatic detection and monitoring of objects;
• Use of deep learning methods in signal and image processing;
• AI-based innovative solutions in medicine, industry, transportation, and services.
Each thesis was thoroughly evaluated by the department commission based on professional approach, practical effectiveness, and scientific novelty.
The defense process saw active participation from department faculty, academic advisors, industry experts, and field specialists. Graduates confidently demonstrated their knowledge and skills, clearly proving their high potential in the AI field.
